Why UBC
The cleanest scrap a melter can buy
Beverage cans are made from just two alloys, a 3xxx-series body and a 5xxx-series lid, so a UBC melt is predictable and easy to correct. Remelting aluminium takes around 95% less energy than making primary metal from bauxite.
The catch is that cans are thin and coated. Recovery depends on how clean, dry and dense the material is when it reaches your furnace. That's why we buy against a written spec, get every lot inspected before it ships, and tell you exactly which grade and packing you are getting.

Baled, briquetted or shredded
We buy and sell against ISRI grade descriptions. Final limits for moisture, contamination and packing are written into each contract.
Densified UBC
Cans compressed into high-density briquettes or biscuits. Loads more weight into each container and has less surface area exposed in the melt.

How it works
From an overseas yard to your furnace

Offer & spec
The supplier shares grade, photos, quantity and loading port. We agree specs and a price, usually CIF an Indian port.

Contract & payment
A written contract covers grade, limits, packing, shipment schedule and payment terms (LC, CAD or TT).

Inspection & loading
A DGFT-recognised agency inspects the lot, runs a radiation check and issues the pre-shipment inspection certificate (PSIC) that Indian customs requires.

Shipping
Containers sail to Mundra or Kandla in Gujarat. Other Indian ports can be arranged.

Customs clearance
We file the bill of entry, pay the duties and clear the cargo under our IEC.

Delivery
Material is invoiced with GST and delivered to the melter's plant or collected at port.

Sindhvai Enterprise
We are a trading company based in Iqbalgadh, Banaskantha, in North Gujarat. Gujarat is home to Mundra and Kandla, two of India's busiest cargo ports. We have worked in export and import sourcing for several years, and we now focus on bringing aluminium can scrap to India's secondary aluminium industry.
We keep the model simple: buy against a clear spec, check every lot before it ships, and deliver what was agreed. We will add more grades as the trade grows.
